Futuroscope is the second largest theme park in France after Eurodisney, and is located in the department of Vienne, 10 kilometres north of Poitiers, in the commune of Chasseneuil-du-Poitou
As the name suggests, many of the Futuroscope attractions feature futuristic themes, and there are shows and attractions throughout the theme park to suit all ages, as well as 3D and even 4D cinema attractions.
The buildings that dominate the landscape are all spectacular and futuristic in design, using modern materials and textures and are works of art in themselves. This theme park also has a great choice of restaurants and shops, plus many seating areas if you decide to take a picnic. Located approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes drive from the house in Les Herolles this is a great place to visit for a full day out.
